Smooth Reunion
Cleaning Up The Business
(ZMCD 006)
Release date: 2008-10-31

Guitarist Josef Melin and drummer Samuel Andre met in 2006 at a school called ITM in Sweden. They soon discovered that they both liked really good music and that very Christmas, that depressingly grey Swedish Christmas, Smooth Reunion was born. They immediately started out writing and recording and it was not long until they presented their debut album ?Scandinavian Bus Mentality? in 2007. Hard at work ever since polishing new composition into perfection together with a wide range of musical friends, from the horn section to the amazing back up singers, everything is perfect without losing their humour. Many are those that have been taken by storm by these young guys and many more are about to be the same, a splendid piece of work all ten tracks through?
JaR
Scene 29
(ZMCD 005 )
Release date: 2008-10-31

Zink Music is more than proud to present a new album from two of the most legendary names on the Westcoast Music scene; October 31, 2008 sees the European release of the album ?Scene 29? from Jay Graydon (Airplay, Planet 3) and Randy Goodrum (Chicago, Steve Lukather), here working under the name JaR! The album ?Scene 29? is superbly crafted, loaded with original, sophisticated, catchy songs, with subtle harmonies and interesting melodic hooks. The musical concept is totally new, yet slightly familiar to anyone into the Steely Dan sound, as the songs build on a similar formula with complex jazz-influenced chord structures that are pleasant to the ear with unexpected musical twists, as well as apt, fun and innovative lyrics. Further, the groove is mature and as usual Jay Graydon plays his guitar with elegant and intelligent accuracy.
Robbie Dupree
Time And Tide
(ZMCD 004)
Release date: 2008-04-23

This is the brand new studio album from Westcoast legend Robbie Dupree and band, "Time and Tide? marks his ninth studio record. Robbie: ?The songs on Time and Tide are all very personal to me and they have been brought to life by my incredible band: David Sancious (Peter Gabriel, Sting), Larry Hoppen (Orleans), Leslie Smith (Bobby Caldwell, Sheryl Crow), Rick Chudacoff (Patti LaBelle, The Temptations) and Peter Bunetta (Peabo Bryson, Smokey Robinson). Together, we have been friends and music partners for more than 30 years. Five years ago we formed this band and began touring around the world. We created the foundation for our own sound. From the start, I knew that we would someday get to do a recording together. Time and Tide is the realization of that dream! I have never been more proud or pleased with the results of our efforts.?

Daniel Andersson
Days in LA
(ZMCD 002)
Release date: 2008-03-12

Daniel Andersson is a new name on the Westcoast scene, but the music he represents is mature and true to the classic sound created in California in the late seventies and early eighties. Daniel has been playing music all his life, he started out by learning the guitar and singing has always been a natural thing for him. The interest for music has grown through out the years and the styles have varied, but some influences have always been there, stuff like Toto, Chicago and Airplay! In 2003 he got the opportunity to study in Los Angeles at MI, where he met and recorded with heroes Jason Scheff (Chicago) and Jimmy Haslip (Yellowjackets). Being in L.A. was a tremendous experience and he got the chance to meet with a lot of great players and producers, including the Airplay duo Jay Graydon and David Foster. Back in Sweden he decided to write and record his own songs in the same style as he grew up listening to.
CC-Rock
CC-Rock EP
(ZMCD 001)
Release date: 2007-05-25

We think that the easiest way to describe what CC-Rock is all about is ?Feel-Good Music?. The band wants their music to be like a powerful injection of pure melodic rock energy. That is why there are no ballads here - or any weak filler! We also think that the EP format is the best for a debut and for getting just the right dosage of melodic rock. The band have been working a lot for getting an intensive and full sound, working with some of the best men in the business. They have chosen and arranged the songs very thoroughly and we are all very proud of the final product. The Swedish band consists of the two guitarists Peter Lundin and Anssi Alataloand on the record they are accompanied by guitarist/song-writer Roger Ljunggren (T?Bell, Grand Illusion a.o.) and well renowned singer, song-writer and producer extraordinaire Patrik Tibell (T?Bell) as well as session drummer Marcus Nowak.
